Bio:

Gabriela Arévalo is professor and CONICET researcher in Universidad Nacional de Quilmes (Argentina). She has been working in research and teaching with different dialects of Smalltalk since 2000. She is partner in several scientific projects about applying Pharo in software reengineering with Belgium and France research groups. She has done her Master in Computer Science in Software Engineering in the Ecole des Mines de Nantes and Vrije Universiteit Brussels under supervision of Isabelle Borne in 1999 - 2000. She has done her PhD in Computer Science in University of Bern (Switzerland) under the supervision of Stéphane Ducasse and Oscar Nierstrasz between 2000 - 2005.

Her main research subject is focused on applying Formal Concept Analysis in reengineering object-oriented applications.
