Bio:

Michael is a researcher and development manager with the SAP Innovation Center Potsdam and its Chairman Projects team. Before joining SAP in 2014, he was a postdoctoral researcher and Ph.D. student in computer science with the Software Architecture Group, led by Prof. Dr. Robert Hirschfeld, at the Hasso-Plattner-Institute (University of Potsdam).

His main research focuses on software engineering, maintenance, and reverse engineering. In particular, he is interested in debugging, dynamic analysis, and program comprehension.

He received a doctoral degree in computer science (2013) from the University of Potsdam, Germany. From 2008 to 2012, he was a member of the Hasso Plattner Institute Research School on “Service-oriented Systems Engineering”.
