Registration
Please read the registration information carefully before beginning the online registration for ICSME 2026.
ICSME 2026, the 42nd IEEE International Conference on Software Maintenance and Evolution, will take place in Benevento, Italy, from Monday, 14 September to Friday, 18 September 2026.
Registration is required for all participants, including authors, speakers, students, invited guests, and attendees of co-located events.
Online registration for ICSME 2026 is available through the official registration form.
Registration Process
The registration process consists of the following steps:
-
Complete the registration form
Each author or participant must complete the online registration form before the applicable deadline. During registration, you will be asked to select the appropriate registration type and provide the required billing information. -
Receive confirmation and payment instructions
After submitting the form, you will receive a confirmation email with your registration details and payment instructions. -
Complete the payment
Registration is confirmed only after the payment has been received. Please make sure to complete both the registration form and the payment before the applicable deadline. -
Keep your registration confirmation
Please retain the confirmation email and any payment receipt, as they may be requested at the registration desk.
Please note that invoice generation and payment confirmation may take a few business days. We strongly recommend submitting the registration form well before the deadline.
Author Registration
At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the conference using an appropriate author registration category by the author registration deadline.
Student registration is not sufficient to cover an accepted paper.
Each full author registration may cover one or more accepted papers co-authored by the same registrant (up to 3).
Accepted papers are expected to be presented in person, unless otherwise communicated by the organizers.
Author/Early registration deadline: July 15th, 2026
Late registration starts: July 16th, 2026
The early registration deadline for SCAM and VISSOFT has been extended to August 8.
Please proceed as follows:
- If you are sure you will attend both ICSME and co-located events, please register by July 15 to benefit from the early registration rate.
- If you are not sure whether you will attend SCAM or VISSOFT — for example, because you are waiting for a paper notification — but you will definitely attend ICSME, please register for ICSME by July 15. You will then be able to add a new registration for SCAM/VISSOFT by August 8.
- If you are registering only for SCAM/VISSOFT, you may register by August 8.
