Call for applications
We are pleased to announce a travel grant for students to attend ISEC 2026. This is meant to encourage outstation students studying in technical institutions in India to attend the conference.
Student Travel Grant – Coverage, Eligibility, Registration & Application Details
1. Travel Grant Coverage
- Each selected student may receive travel support under the following conditions: travel expenses will be reimbursed against valid travel booking receipts, subject to a maximum of Rs. 3,000. Students presenting a paper or poster in any track may receive additional support of up to Rs. 2,000, against receipts. Travel tickets must be booked from the town/city of the student’s college to Jaipur, and return travel from Jaipur to the same town/city is also admissible.
- Reimbursement is allowed only for bus, train (up to AC 2-tier), and economy-class flights.
- Travel grant recipients may be requested to assist with conference volunteering activities, such as working at the registration desk or helping session chairs. The total volunteering time will be less than 7 hours over the entire conference period.
2. Eligibility:
Full-time students currently enrolled in a recognized College/ Institute/ University in India are eligible to apply. Students from institutions located outside Jaipur are eligible. Participants who are temporarily away from their college location due to academic engagements (such as internships, training, or fieldwork) must upload a valid supporting document (for example, an internship or appointment letter) at the time of application.
3. Registration Requirement:
Applicants do not need to be registered for ISEC 2026 at the time of applying for the Student Travel Grant. However, registration is required to avail the grant. Students who have an accepted paper or poster in any track must register under the author registration category and meet the author registration deadline.
4. Special Consideration:
Applicants who do not have an accepted paper or poster and wish to attend the conference only may be considered for a discounted registration fee, if they provide a valid reason. These requests will be reviewed by the conference organizers. Selected applicants will receive a registration link after the grant results are announced and must register by the given deadline.

- Decision Notification: 14 February 2026

Student participants receiving travel grants must submit a hard-copy travel grant form at the conference registration desk during the conference, along with the following documents:
- Copies of travel tickets / booking receipts (showing source and destination)
- Payment proof (transaction receipt or invoice)
- College ID card
- Permission letter from their institution on official letterhead, signed by the appropriate authority
Additionally, student applicants must mark their attendance at the registration desk on both days of the conference.
