Ashkan is a Professor of Software Engineering, who is interested in conducting research in the intersection of Data Science, Software Engineering and Cyber Security to address societal concerns. His current research focuses on ethical challenges and the use of foundation models for solving research problems in a broad spectrum of disciplines, including Software Engineering, medicine, and engineering.
