This proposal presents the details of our journal-first paper, which is intended for presentation at the IEEE/ACM International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE 2026). The paper was accepted on December 3, 2024, and subsequently published on July 3, 2025. As it introduces an AI-driven approach for developing digital twins of IoT devices to enable automated testing of IoT applications, the work aligns closely with the core research areas of ICSE 2026.
