Our workshop provides a forum for cross-domain interaction by bringing together members of the ICT4S community to share perspectives and experiences relevant to research and practice in education. In addition, the workshop provides a platform for participants to collaboratively work on expanding the body of knowledge in sustainability education and to jump-start new collaborations.

A significant portion of the workshop is devoted to structured but open-ended interaction among the participants with the goal of exploring emergent topics and ideas through co-creation and collaboration. The workshop will be held at ICT4S 2026 in Bern, Switzerland in June’26.

We offer the possibility to submit a paper on a topic within the scope of the workshop. It is not a requirement for participating in the workshop but an additional way to contribute. The papers are aimed to be published within the joint CEUR ICT4S’26 companion proceedings. Potential topics include but are not limited to:

• Contributions to a Body of Knowledge of ICT4SEdu
• Ways of Teaching ICT4S
• Integration of ICT4SEdu into course curricula
• Serious Games for ICT4S
• Experience Reports of New Teaching Formats
• Knowledge Management around ICT4SEdu
• Student Project and Assignment Templates for ICT4SEdu

Format of submissions is papers of up to 10 pages of the CEUR WS proceedings, where formatting files are for download here or as an Overleaf template here. We are open to other types of contributions – please note that it might not be possible to publish them via CEUR, so please reach out to Birgit Penzenstadler via email and ask.
