Abstract

The software industry has grown from simple programmers doing almost every job when creating software programs, to one where there are many titled engineering specialists listed in job postings. For a number of years, the use of the term “architect” has appeared in system, software and test job postings. This paper explores the important knowledge and skills of a software test architect and why they are needed.
