The annual Symposium on Principles of Programming Languages is the premier forum for the discussion of all aspects of programming languages and programming systems. Our community has produced foundational ideas that have shaped computing for decades, including type systems, program synthesis, theorem proving, static analysis, and verified systems.

The 2027 conference and associated workshops will take place in Mexico City at the Hilton Mexico City Reforma from January 10 to January 16.

The symposium is sponsored by ACM SIGPLAN, in cooperation with ACM SIGACT and ACM SIGLOG.

The paper deadline has passed, but you can still view the call for papers here. But the deadline for the call for tutorials is coming up very soon. We also encourage students to submit to the Student Research Competition whose deadline is also coming up soon.
