Bio:

Tapajit Dey is a Researcher in the Architecture Design Analysis and Automation Team at the Software Engineering Institute in Carnegie Mellon University. Previously, he worked as a Research Fellow at Lero, the Science Foundation Ireland Research Centre for Software, working with Prof. Brian Fitzgerald. He finished his Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Tennessee with Dr. Audris Mockus. His research interests include Open Source and InnerSource development, empirical software engineering, mining software repositories, and data analytics. He received his Bachelors’s and Masters’s Degrees from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, and worked at IBM India Software Lab for 3 years before joining his Ph.D.
