Bio:
I am a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Notre Dame where I am co-advised by Drs. Kevin W. Bowyer and Walter J. Scheirer. I am also a Graduate Research Assistant in the Computer Vision Research Lab. Before coming to Notre Dame, I got my Bachelor’s degree in CS from Tecnológico de Monterrey (ITESM) in Mexico, where I graduated with an Honorable Mention for Excellence.
The topic of my research is “Improving Scene Understanding in Adverse Scenarios”, where I explore techniques to develop effective scene recognition algorithms that provide high-fidelity situational awareness and understanding of complex scenes.
