Veli Karakaya is an undergraduate Computer Engineering student at Bilkent University, Türkiye. His research interests include AI for Software Engineering (AI4SE), Software Analytics, and the evaluation of large language models, with a focus on empirical and data-driven approaches.

He is particularly interested in understanding how AI systems can be effectively integrated into software development processes, including areas such as code review, program analysis, and developer support tools. His work emphasizes the evaluation, reliability, and real-world applicability of large language models in software engineering contexts.

Veli has an accepted contribution at EASE 2026 with 2 papers in the Industry and Poster and Vision Track. He is motivated to further explore the intersection of LLM evaluation and software engineering and plans to pursue advanced research in this area.
