I am Luca Di Grazia and I held as PI a Great Minds Fellowship (~$230,000) at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, hosted by Prof. Dr. Guido Salvaneschi, on automated security testing methods for AI-generated code. Previously, I was a Postdoctoral researcher in Software Engineering at Università della Svizzera Italiana (USI) in Switzerland advised by Prof. Mauro Pezzè. Previously, I got my PhD (summa cum laude) in Software Engineering in the Software Lab group at Stuttgart Universität in Germany advised by Prof. Michael Pradel with the PhD thesis “Supporting Software Evolution via Search and Prediction”.

My research interests are on Security of AI Agents (FSE 2026), Generative AI to automatically generate tests (ICSE 2026 and ASE 2025), Python type errors (ASE 2026, ICSE 2024 and FSE 2022-Distinguished Paper Award), and more.
