Mayki dos Santos Oliveira is a researcher in the field of recommendation systems for smart homes. He holds a degree in Computer Science from Faculdade Pitágoras de Teixeira de Freitas (2021), a master’s degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), and is currently pursuing a PhD, expected to be completed in 2029. Since 2021, he has been working on research projects focused on artificial intelligence and home automation, with an emphasis on the orchestration of intelligent scenarios and personalization of the user experience. His main projects include the RESEARCH PROJECT ORCHESTRATION OF AUTONOMOUS SCENARIOS FOR SMART HOMES (2021-2023), the SMART UNIVERSE (2022-2024), and ARGUS (2023-2025). Mayki is a member of the Recsys research group at UFBA, where he investigates advanced recommendation strategies for smart environments. Their approach combines machine learning and personalization techniques to enhance human-machine interaction in connected homes.
