Bio:

Sidny holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS) and a specialization in Technology and Information Systems from the Federal University of ABC (UFABC). He is currently an Assistant Professor at São Judas Tadeu University (USJT), teaching in the Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, and Information Technology Management programs. In 2025, he was awarded the Best Master’s Thesis in Information Systems in Brazil by the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC). In addition to his academic activities, he has played a key role as Publisher Chair of the Workshop on Modeling and Simulation of Software-Intensive Systems (MSSiS) since 2023 and has been a member of the SBC since 2021. His professional experience is focused on the areas of Computer Science and Information Systems, with an emphasis on Software Engineering. His main research interests include Requirements Engineering, Modeling and Simulation, Exception Handling in Business Processes, Business Process–of–Business Processes (PoP), and Systems-of-Systems (SoS).
