Bio:

Sidny holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS). He is also a specialist in Technology and Information Systems from the Federal University of ABC (UFABC). Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at São Judas Tadeu University (USJT), teaching in the Computer Science, Information Systems, and Systems Analysis and Development programs. In 2025, he was awarded the best dissertation in Brazil in Information Systems by the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC). In addition to his academic work, he plays a key role as Publisher Chair for the Workshop on Modeling and Simulation of Software-Intensive Systems (MSSiS) since 2023 and has been a member of SBC since 2021. His professional experience is focused on Computer Science and Information Systems, with an emphasis on Software Engineering. His main research interests include requirements engineering, modeling and simulation of business processes, exception handling in business processes, business process modeling, and fault tolerance in system-of-systems.
