Guan-Yan Yang (Graduate Member) is a Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering at National Taiwan University (NTU), advised by Prof. Farn Wang. His research focuses on AIoT security, cybersecurity, software testing and fuzzing, graph-based intrusion detection, and AI reliability. He is currently affiliated with NTU’s Software Testing / Verification Automation Lab.
Before starting his Ph.D., he worked as a researcher at National Dong Hwa University. In 2023, he joined TSMC (Design Technology Platform) as a Software Engineer Intern, where he applied machine learning methods to improve design rule checking (DRC) quality; the project received 1st place in the R&D-DTP Internship Competition at TSMC.
His recent first-author work has been accepted by venues including IEEE ICST 2026, IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics, IEEE Network, and Journal of Network and Computer Applications.
