Bio:

José Alexandre D’Abruzzo Pereira is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Informatics Engineering of the University of Coimbra and a researcher at CISUC. His research focuses on secure software development, particularly on the trustworthiness characterization of code units and software vulnerability detection using static analysis techniques and machine learning methods. He received a MSc in Information Technology and Software Engineering from the University of Coimbra and Carnegie Mellon University, and a BSc. in Computer Science from the University of Campinas (Unicamp).
