Tristan’s career has seen him transition from graphic designer to interactive designer, then multimedia developer. Now positioned at the convergence of those fields, his applied research brings new insights, tools, and workflows to creative practitioners, storytellers, and educators – providing entry to new digital experiences and democratising access to creativity. He is actively involved in open-source projects exploring Python programming for creativity, holds degrees in design and computer science, and is pursuing a part-time PhD in HCI. He spent years working in digital agencies and tech startups before joining Massey University.
