This is Eason from Taiwan. My name in Chinese is ‘怡升 (I-Sheng)’, meaning ‘rising with joy’. I hope I can have a joyful mind, keep making progress and gain pleasure by doing so. My major is Learning Sciences, which is an interdisciplinary undergraduate program, which encompasses a wide range of professional cultivations in several domains such as Computer Science, Information Science, Data Science, Psychology, Social Science and Education.

I gain a lot of pleasure in both doing academic research and using coding to solve problems. Therefore, I want to pursue Ph.D. in Computer Science. Now I’m looking for suitable schools, professors, and scholarship funding for my Ph.D.

I plan to enroll my Ph.D. Program at 2023 Sep. I will finish all the credits I need to graduate before 2022 Jan. Then, I will start working from 2022 Jan to 2023 Aug to learn industry know-how and cultivate soft skills such as EQ and communication skill. Also, during that time, I will explore some interested research topics in Blockchain, AI, HCI, which potentially be my Ph.D. research topic, and publish papers to sharpen my academic skills.
