He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on Electronics from Mackenzie Presbyterian University, São Paulo (1996), a specialization in Computer Network Security from the Catholic University of Brasília (2004), and a Master’s (2008) and Ph.D. (2012) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Brasília. He currently serves as a Substitute Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Brasília, teaching undergraduate courses and in the Professional Master’s Program in Cybersecurity, and is also a member of the Applied Computing Program in the Department of Computer Science. At the undergraduate level, he teaches courses in Network Fundamentals, Network Laboratory, Undergraduate Final Project I, Undergraduate Final Project II, Topics in Communication Networks III, and Transport and Routing Protocols.
He is a career employee of Banco do Brasil, working in the field of Cybersecurity, where he leads Red Team, Blue Team, and Cyber Intelligence teams. He has extensive experience in Electrical Engineering, with emphasis on Telecommunication Systems, and conducts teaching, research, and innovation activities primarily in Information Security, Internet Banking, Network Security, Cybercrime Prevention, IT Governance, Vulnerability Management Strategies, Offensive Security, and Cyber Intelligence.
