Thatiane de Oliveira Rosa is an Assistant Professor at the Federal Institute of Tocantins (IFTO), Brazil, where she has been teaching in higher education since 2009. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems (2007), a Master’s degree in Computational Modeling (2015), and a Ph.D. in Computer Science (2023) from the University of São Paulo (IME-USP). Her doctoral research focused on Software Architecture, resulting in the proposal of CharM, a model to characterize service-based systems based on microservices guidelines, as well as a systematic method for trade-off analysis of architectural patterns. Before entering academia, she worked in the software industry as a developer, systems analyst, and development team coordinator. Her current research interests include Software Engineering, Software Architecture, Agile Methods, Computing Education Methodologies, and Gender Issues in Information Technology.
