APSEC 2026
Mon 7 - Thu 10 December 2026 Bali, Indonesia

The Domestic Industrial Summit is a dedicated track within APSEC aimed at strengthening collaboration between Indonesian industries and the software engineering academic community. This track serves as a strategic platform to enhance domestic participation in APSEC while fostering meaningful “link and match” initiatives between universities and industry sectors.

Primary Objective

The primary objective of the summit is to bridge the gap between academic curricula, research outputs, and the evolving needs of industry.

Through a plenary discussion format, engineering professionals from key domestic sectors—such as agriculture, petroleum and energy, telecommunications, manufacturing, logistics, and digital services—will engage directly with researchers, educators, and academic leaders. Together, they will explore the competencies and software engineering skills expected by industry, identify current technological challenges, and discuss practical solutions that can be addressed through research, innovation, and curriculum development.

The summit also provides an opportunity to discuss: * Emerging trends * Digital transformation strategies * Cybersecurity needs * AI-driven solutions * System integration challenges * The demand for industry-ready graduates

By aligning academic research agendas and educational programs with real-world industrial requirements, this track aims to strengthen national competitiveness and accelerate sustainable technological development.

Participation

Participation in the Domestic Industrial Summit is by invitation. The outcome of this track is expected to generate actionable insights, collaborative initiatives, and long-term partnerships that contribute to the advancement of software engineering practices in Indonesia’s domestic industrial ecosystem.
