Call for Posters

APSEC 2026 — Asia-Pacific Software Engineering Conference

Overview

Poster papers should present work in progress and be based on either research, practice, or experience. Poster papers are not required to report complete results as full conference papers, making them a good way to fast-track new technical work.

Posters will be presented during a special session at APSEC 2026. The poster session aims to bring like-minded people together in an interactive setting. Effectively designed posters convey the essence of an idea, an experience, or a piece of research in an appealing manner.

Evaluation Criteria

Each submission will be rigorously reviewed by the Poster Review Panel. Submissions will be evaluated based on:

  • Relevance to software engineering concepts, methods, tools, and technologies.
  • Clarity of motivation and problem statement, including the significance of the addressed challenge or opportunity.
  • Originality and/or practical value of the proposed idea, approach, experience, or preliminary results.
  • Soundness of the approach, including the appropriateness of the methodology, design, or technical contribution.
  • Quality of presentation, including the clarity and organization of the paper.
  • Potential to stimulate discussion and engagement during the poster session and contribute to the exchange of ideas within the software engineering community.

Reviewers will consider both the technical merit and the potential of the work to generate meaningful interaction and feedback from conference participants.

Submission Guidelines

  • Poster papers must not exceed two (2) pages, including figures, tables, and references.
  • Submissions must conform to the IEEE Conference Proceedings Formatting Guidelines.
  • All submissions should be prepared in PDF format.
  • Unlike other tracks, the Posters Track does not follow the double-blind review process.
  • Since the Posters Track is not double-blind, author names and affiliations must be included in the submitted manuscript.

For your paper to be published in the APSEC 2026 conference proceedings, at least one author must register for the conference and confirm that they will present the poster.
