Accepted Papers
Call for Papers
ISEC (Innovations in Software Engineering Conference) is the annual flagship conference of iSOFT, the India chapter of ACM SIGSOFT, under the umbrella of ACM India. The nineteenth edition of ISEC will be held at IIS (Deemed to be University), Jaipur, from 19–21 February, 2026.
ISEC 2026 will host a Doctoral Symposium Track, inviting all doctoral students pursuing research in software engineering and allied areas, in any year of their program, to submit their work. The symposium aims to provide a supportive platform for research scholars to showcase their research, seek constructive feedback from eminent researchers, and foster discussions with peers from diverse institutes.
In addition to interactions with experts regarding their thesis topics, the symposium will feature invited talks and/or a panel discussion addressing various facets of doctoral life, including research challenges, publishing strategies, and career paths.
Submission Details
Submissions must be in PDF format, not exceeding four pages (including bibliography and appendices). Authors are required to use the ACM Conference Proceedings Template for their submissions.
The submissions should clearly outline:
- A well-defined problem statement for the doctoral research
- Potential approach(es) towards addressing the problem
- The roadmap to thesis completion (evaluation methodology, success metrics, target conferences/journals for publication)
While it is desirable that submissions include a proposed solution with supporting theoretical or empirical evidence, it is not mandatory.
Authors of the accepted papers will present their work during the symposium. Selected papers will be published in the conference proceedings. Additionally, a limited number of travel grants will be available to support research scholars in attending the Doctoral Symposium.
