STAF 2026 - Call for Workshop Proposals
STAF 2026 will be held in Rennes, France, between June 29 and July 3, 2026.
The workshops at STAF provide collaborative forums for typically 15 to 35 participants to exchange results, discuss emerging ideas, or coordinate community efforts.
We welcome workshops on all aspects of software technologies and languages, including object-oriented design, testing, formal modeling and verification, model transformation, model-driven and aspect-oriented approaches, and related tools. Emerging topics of interest also include AI (its impact, applications, and language interactions), digital twins, sustainability, security and privacy, and model-based quality assurance.
Workshops should balance paper presentations and discussions, encourage interaction, and may be research-oriented or applied. They can be half-day or full-day events. Workshops that had successful editions at past STAF instances or friend conferences are particularly encouraged.
Important: Workshops are in-person events. STAF 2026 does not support hybrid participation.
Proposals will be assessed based on their potential to advance research and practice, the organizers’ experience and ability to ensure a successful event, the balance and synergy of topics, and the continuity of the workshop series.
