Welcome Reception
On Tuesday evening (May 19), all conference participants are invited to a welcome reception.
- Start time: 18:00, May 19
- Location: John Hannah Hall (5F), Academic Cultural Complex (E9), KAIST
- It requires a KAIST ID card to enter the building. A staff member will assist you with entering through the south gate of the building.
- Route 1: Shuttle Bus
- Free shuttle buses will operate between DCC and KAIST
- 17:30-17:45: Conference Venue (DCC 1 Main Gate) → E9, KAIST
- 20:00-20:10: E9, KAIST → Conference Venue → Dunsan-dong Area (near Graytone Hotel)
- Route 2: Local Bus
- Daejeon local buses are cashless, so you will need a T-money card (or any Korean transit card), which can be purchased at convenience stores.
- Estimated Fare: KRW 1,500
- 121: Daejeon Convention Center → KAIST
- 특구 1 (Special route 1): DCC End Point → KAIST Main Building
- Route 3: Taxi
- Estimated Time: 8 minutes (3.8km)
- Estimated Fare: ~KRW 6,920
- Please use the taxi stand right in front of the DCC main entrance.
