‹Programming› 2020 main venue will be the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto (FEUP).
FEUP has its origins in the 18th century, but became known as Faculty of Engineering in 1926. It awards degrees up to doctorate, in several engineering fields. It is at walking distance to the Science and Technology Park of University of Porto (UPTEC), hosting around 200 tech startups, and is located in Asprela Campus, which represents one of the largest density of talent, knowledge and innovation in Europe. In fact, in a little more than a square kilometer work more than 14,000 people, mostly with higher qualifications and in functions of high complexity. The campus also hosts around 38,000 students in more than 500 higher education programmes and launches more than 10,000 graduates a year, which accounts for about one-third of the regional total.
