Registration
We offers several ticket options based on the number of days you plan to attend: 4 days (all of STAF’24), 3 consecutive days, or 2 days.
The days that specific events (i.e. ECMFA, ICGT, WADT, and workshops) are taking place on can be found here.

2-, 3-, and 4-days tickets include physical access to all main events, workshops, coffee breaks, and lunches taking place on the days you registered for. This also applies for discounted student registrations. Note that early bird tickets are available until 14th June (after which the ‘late’ price applies).
Note that:
- 2-day ticket include either the dinner on Wednesday 10 July or the reception dinner on Monday 8 July
- 3/4- day ticket includes reception dinner on Monday 8 July and conference dinner on Wednesday 10 July

Author Policy
Authors are expected to present their paper physically (i.e. on-site). Please contact us quickly at staf2024@utwente.nl (CC the co-chairs of your conference/workshop) if no author can attend the conference on site.
A single conference registration cannot cover multiple papers. The author may register by paying the regular fee.
Student Policy
For registrations at the student rate, a proof of student status – such as a confirmation of registration provided by the university or a confirmation letter by the PhD advisor – may be asked on your arrival at the conference. We reserve the right to refuse you access to the conference if you cannot provide such proof. If you are registered as a student, you might be asked to help (voluntarily) with small administrative tasks on the day of the conference.
Visa Information
If you need a visa for traveling to the Netherlands, we can provide you with an invitation letter needed for obtaining the visa. You have to fulfil the following pre-requisites to get this invitation letter:
- You are already registered for STAF 2024.
- You need to have an accepted paper at one of the STAF 2024 events.
- If you meet these requirements contact us by sending an email to staf2024@utwente.nl. In your e-mail, please explicitly indicate to which STAF 2024 event your paper has been accepted.
