Dr. Ana Wooley is an Assistant Professor within the Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering and Engineering Management (ISEEM) at The University of Alabama in Huntsville. She completed her PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering at Auburn University in 2023 and she holds a master’s degree in industrial and systems engineering from the same institution. She is an expert in modeling and simulation of manufacturing systems, with a particular focus on automotive manufacturing systems. Dr. Wooley’s current research focuses on digital twin development, smart manufacturing, simulation, and seamless integration of these technologies into manufacturing systems. She has collaborated with leading automotive companies such as Honda to develop simulations of the manufacturing line.
