Antoni Mestre is a researcher at the Valencian Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence and an assistant professor at the Open University of Catalonia. His work focuses on human-centered artificial intelligence, explainable systems, and human-computer interaction, emphasizing the responsible integration of technology into society.

In addition to his academic roles, Antoni has extensive experience collaborating with international and governmental institutions. He has worked with the United Nations International Atomic Energy Agency on AI projects for nuclear non-proliferation and with the European Commission in security and defense. Nationally, he has served as an external advisor to the Corts Valencianes (Valencian Parliament) and as a member of the expert committee of the Ministry of Youth and Adolescence of Spain, where he contributed to the development of policies on technology and education.
