He is currently an Associate Professor in the IMS Laboratory, University of Bordeaux, France. His research activities currently focuses on Algorithm-Architecture-Matching on both hardware (ASIC/FPGA) and software targets (CPU/DSP/GPU), mainly in the field of digital communication systems. The scope of his work covers the design of SIMD processor cores on FPGA targets, the programming of SIMD architectures as well as methodologies to accelerate the design space exploration. He is the author of 24 international journal publications with one third of them in the field of SIMD programming. At the same time, he is the co-author of more than 90 publications in international conferences.
