Carla Strickland is an expert in digitally enhanced STEM teaching and learning. Her STEM+CS education research and curriculum development are informed by nearly three decades of teaching mathematics and computer science in K–12 classrooms. She works with K–8 teachers and administrators to integrate computer science and digital technologies into their existing STEM curriculum and instruction, with a particular focus on culturally responsive pedagogy and universal design for learning. Carla’s multilingual and multicultural upbringing engendered her audacious and passionate perspective on language and learning.
