Bio:
Chris Mayfield is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at James Madison University. His current research includes IntroCS-POGIL, POGIL Engagement, and Equipping for Praxis. He is a coauthor of the textbook Think Java: How to Think Like a Computer Scientist. He received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Purdue University and bachelor’s degrees in CS and German from the University of Utah.
