Ciske is a second year PhD student in the Intelligent Systems and Networks Research Group at Imperial College London under the supervision of Prof. Jeremy Pitt. Her research is centred on the use of socio-technical systems to empower individuals to self-determine their place-based social arrangements. Additionally, Ciske holds a BA(Hons) in architecture from the University of Cape Town and an MSc. in Transforming City Regions from RWTH Aachen.
