Name:Hammad Ahmad
Bio:

I am a second year Computer Science and Engineering Ph.D. student at the University of Michigan. My areas of research interest involve genetic and evolutionary computation, software testing and verification, and automated program repair.

Coming from a liberal arts background, I am very passionate about teaching and the quality of education in the classroom. Post completion of my Ph.D. program, I am interested in seeking a faculty position at a liberal arts college that puts a strong emphasis on undergraduate education and mentorship.

Outside of school, I love playing soccer. My favorite team is Manchester United–it is a rare occurrence for me to miss a United game, regardless of the time it airs. I also consider myself semi-decent at ping pong. I enjoy portrait photography, but unfortunately have not had much time to take my camera out of the storage closet.
