Name:Hoda Khalil

Dr. Khalil received her Ph.D. degree from Carleton University in 2018 in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a major in Software Engineering and a thesis focused on model-based testing. From 2015 to 2018 Dr. Khalil worked as a research assistant at the Software Quality Engineering Lab at Carleton University. Dr. Khalil has been an IEEE member since 2013. She currently works as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Advanced Real-time Simulation Lab researching modeling for sustainability. She also works as an Instructor at Carleton University teaching Software Engineering (Requirement Elicitation and Model-Driven Engineering). Her work has been published in top peer-reviewed journals and conferences. She has received multiple scholarships and awards including the W.B. McDermid Holbein Memorial award for outstanding academic achievement. She also has considerable experience in the software industry.
