JUAN TRUJILLO (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree, in 2001. He is a Full Professor with the Department of Software and Computing Systems, University of Alicante. He has been leading the Business Intelligence and Big Data Research in the Department and has also been the Founder and the Director of the Lucentia Research Group, since 2008. He is the author of more than 200 conference papers, such as ER, UML, DAWAK, and CAiSE; more than 70 JCR journals, such as DKE, DSS, ISOFT, IS, and InfSci. His main research interests include business intelligence, big data, data warehouses, data analytics, decision support systems, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and health.
