Bio: Natalia Chechina is a Lecturer in Computing at Bournemouth University, UK. She received a PhD degree from Heriot-Watt University, UK in 2011. She then worked as a Research Associate and Research Fellow at Heriot-Watt and Glasgow Universities, including the EU FP7 RELEASE project (2011-2015 A High-Level Paradigm for Reliable Large-Scale Server Software). Her main research interest are scaling distributed computations on commodity hardware and collaborative robotics.
