Bio:

Since I was very young I was always excited to help my classmates with the issues that were difficult for them, so I discovered one of my life purposes: teaching. Another one of my life’s purposes learned from my parents and grandparents civic example, sowed in me the responsibility to contribute to the development of my home region. I come from a family with few or no formal education, but with great skills and knowledge forged through work. In short, I love to teach, I love my homeland, I want to contribute to its development and I seek to combine the theoretical knowledge of the academy with the practical knowledge of the industry.

Since 2011 I am a faculty at Los Llanos University, Villavicencio, Colombia, where I had worked on software development processes improvement as a foundation for grade students startups. Currently, I am pursuing my Ph.D. studies, at Los Andes University, Bogotá, Colombia. I have more than ten years of experience with software development in industry, and more than five years of research and innovation in software development processes improvement. In the elapsed time of my Ph.D. program, I have developed skills in empirical studies, repository mining, and ground theory. I am working in a Systematic Literature Review on traceability from requirements to solution architecture, I am interested in unveiling the gaps for automatizing the requirements management and the consequent changes in the related solution architecture artifacts.
