Quinn is Senior Director of Computational Thinking at the national education non-profit Digital Promise. Quinn’s research at Digital Promise examines the effectiveness of different activities by which to introduce students to programming and how computational thinking (CT) can be integrated into schools to support core curricula coursework. With the advent of AI in education, he is working with a range of school districts and other education partners to examine how key computing concepts underpinning AI can likewise be integrated into a range of classrooms and learning activities. His research has been supported by a number of state and federal grants. He has written numerous articles around integrating computing into the school day, as well as co-authored two books on K-12 coding and digital gaming through MIT Press.
