Samantha is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Media Lab, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an International Postdoctoral Scholar at Nanyang Technological University Singapore. She works on augmenting human memory and cognition through conversational and voice interfaces, wearables, and biosignals. She received her PhD in Bioengineering from The University of Auckland and Bachelor of Engineering from Singapore University of Technology and Design.
