Bio:

Sanaa Alwidian received her Ph.D. degree from the University of Ottawa in 2020 in Computer Science with a major in Software Engineering and a thesis focused on Model-based Software Engineering. From 2015 to 2019, Dr. Alwidian worked as a research and a teaching assistant at the University University of Ottawa. She currently works as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the GEODES Software Engineering Research Lab, at the University of Montreal. Her work has been published in top peer-reviewed journals and conferences. She has received multiple scholarships and awards including the Ontario Trillium Scholarship, The University of Ottawa Excellence Scholarship, and the Ontario Graduate Scholarship for outstanding academic and research achievements. She also has considerable teaching experience in several academic institutions.
