Scott D. Stoller is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Stony Brook University. His primary research areas are cybersecurity, cyber-physical systems, programming languages, and distributed systems. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Physics, summa cum laude, from Princeton University and his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Cornell University. He received an NSF CAREER Award, an ONR Young Investigator Award, the NASA Turning Goals Into Reality Award for Engineering Innovation (as a member of the Java PathFinder team), and three Best Paper Awards. He is the author or co-author of over 150 refereed research publications. He has been PI or co-PI on over $24M of research grants.
