Tim Barnes is an experienced educator and program manager with over a decade of service in K-12 education. As a classroom teacher in a rural Western Pennsylvania school district, he developed and led a comprehensive STEM and Computer Technology program, teaching students in grades 7-12 across disciplines including Computer Science, Business Technology, and Graphic Design. Currently, Tim is the Assistant Program Manager for CMU CS Academy, where he is dedicated to advancing equitable access to computer science education. He is a frequent presenter at state and national conferences, having contributed to forums such as FETC, CSTA, OETC, WeTeach CS, NYSCATE, the Ohio CS Ed Summit, and the TXCSP Advisory Board.
