Bio:

Veronica Rossano is an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Bari. Her research activities focus on educational technology, to define and validate new IT methods and techniques to support learning and teaching processes, in formal and informal contexts. Scientific Responsible of the TELL (Technology Enhanced Learning Lab). She works extensively in the field of spreading scientific culture with schools of all levels. She has been involved in several research projects to coordinate activities on design and develop serious games to address specific issues, the most recent are: OSCAR Promoting crOss-cutting digital Skills through Europe-wide non-Conventional leArning experiences (ERASMUS- EDU-2023); DARE - A digital health initiative to enable prevention along the life span (MUR under National Plan for NRRP Complementary Investments), C-LAB 4.0 “Competences Lab for Industry 4.0" (Regional project), FEEL GOOD! social robot-mediated video modeling intervention to facilitate communication between healthcare professional and patient with autism spectrum disorder (PRIN Italian National project).
