Zhen Xie is a postdoctoral researcher in the Data Sciences group at the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility. Zhen works on optimizing AI and HPC workloads with mixed precision on the next-generation AI-accelerator systems.
Prior, Zhen was a postdoctoral researcher in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of California Merced on building efficient system supports for HPC and AI/DL workloads with persistent memory and GPU platforms. Zhen obtained his Ph.D. at the Institute of Computing Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICT, CAS), Beijing, China. Zhen received a B.S. degree in Computer Science and Technology at the Wuhan University of Technology.
