Daniel is a Postdoc at the Computer Science Department of the University College Cork, after a PhD in Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Bologna; he is an ICT professional and entrepreneur. He performed several studies on Socio–Technical Software Engineering topics in Defense agencies and multinational banking institutions, which he actively consults. His research interests include Empirical Software Engineer- ing, Managing Information Systems and Computer Science Education. He is fellow of different research institution, like the Irish Software Research Centre (Lero), the Ital- ian National Research Council (CNR), and the Italian Interuniversity Consortium for Computer Science (CINI). He has a 3+ years of experience in lecturing different Com- puter Science classes at different universities. Since January 2015 he acts as managing director of a high-tech company within the sustainable mobility sector. In his career he was successfully in charge (as PI) or collaborated in the collection of over 650.000 Euro net research funds. Daniel authored over 20 peer reviewed journal, conference and book chapter articles in prestigious international venues and received several honors for his early achievements.
