David A. Manrique Negrin is currently pursuing a PhD in the Software Engineering and Technology research group at Eindhoven University of Technology. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the esteemed National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Subsequently, he obtained a Master’s degree in Operational Research with a fspecialization on sustainable energy from the University of Edinburgh, and a further Master’s degree in Automotive Technology from Eindhoven University of Technology. He also has a background industrial experience spanning eight years in Manufacturing and Sustainability across diverse companies in Mexico. David’s research pursuits are deeply rooted in his passion for innovation and problem-solving. His current interests center around Domain-Specific Languages (DSLs), Digital Twin design, and System Engineering, leveraging Model-Driven Software Engineering (MDSE) techniques, and Automotive Software Engineering, particularly focusing on autonomous driving and software development using MDSE methodologies.
