Bio:

Eduardo Fernandes is a multi-award winning, early-career researcher in Software Engineering. He holds a PhD in Informatics, plus a master’s and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, all from top universities in Brazil. He is an assistant professor at SDU Software Engineering in Denmark. He was a professor of Software Engineering at UFMS in Brazil and a Postdoctoral Fellow at both Queen’s University at Kingston in Canada and UFMG in Brazil. He was a visiting researcher in Data Analysis at Newcastle University in the UK. He was also an intern in Software Engineering at Petrobras, which is Brazil’s Fortune Global 500-ranked oil, gas, and energy company, SUS, which is the largest government-run public health care system in the world, and GOVBR, which is a major public management company. His research interests include, but are not limited to: empirical software engineering, software maintenance/evolution, and software quality.
